I rang in the New Year with my fellow Finest.se bloggers Sanna Sydborg and Jamie Sallmèn, who was also Body of the Week on my blog. We had a great time and there were a lot of fun people there.
But now I’m back in the gym and I’m going to be training harder than ever. I’m more or less done losing weight. I shed 16 kilos in 12 weeks and I’m feeling great! It’s amazing to look back at where I was mentally and spiritually last summer and where I am now in 2013. I was able to use my knowledge as a personal trainer to stay disciplined, focus on my fitness and make good decisions for my health. This was key to my healing process. A lot of good things have been happening lately and it’s the first time I’ve been this happy in a long time. It feels good to have the normal David back.
